에스겔서 33장 30-33

오늘 읽었던 에스겔서의 묵상은 조금 충격(?)적이라고 할수 있다.

몇가지가 있었지만 한가지만 소개한다면, 

As for you, son of man, your countrymen are talking together about you by walls and at the doors of the houses, saying to each other, 'come and hear the message that has come from the Lord'

--여기까지는 별문제가 없다, 예언자에게 말씀을 들으로 가자고 하니 얼마나 좋은 일인가? 그런데 문제는 다음부터이다.

My people come to you, as they usually do, and sir before you to listen to your worlds but they do not put them into practice

--얼마나 맞는 말씀인지.. 그들은 항상 와서 듣는 것 처럼 들으나 들은 것을 실천으로 옮기지 않는다는 것이다. 이런 현상들은 어제 오늘일이 아니고 지금이나 예전이다 비슷하다는 것을 알게 된다. 이 다음에는 더 슬프다.....

Indeed to them you are nothing more than one who sings love songs with a beautiful voice and plays an instrument well, for they hear your words but do not put them into practice.

--바로 내가 찬양인도도 하고 말씀도 전하는데 내가 하는 일들이 그들에게는 그저 노래 잘 부르는 어떤 사람의 사랑 타령쯤에 불과했던 것이 아니었다 하는 생각이 든다. 왜냐면 사람들은 그것을 실천하지 않기 때문이다. 

Actually I lead worship songs and I preach the Words and they seems enjoy them pretty much sometimes BUT the problem is that they don't do anything after hear the Words. 아 이 말씀이 정녕 맞는듯, 사람들이 듣기는 듣지만, 그리고 즐기는 듯하지만 그들은 결국 행하지는 않는다는 사실이 나를  불편하게 한다.  33절은 더욱 우리를 슬프게 한다.

When all this comes true- an it surely will-then they will know that a prophet has been among you.
